Panasonic has a new surprise ready for its Japanese consumers. The company has just released on the market (on August 2nd) their newest clamshell: the Panasonic 921P.

The phone is available in various color versions (pink, gold, black, silver, purple, green and mint) and features a 3.1-inch widescreen LCD display 5.1 megapixel camera with auto focus and anti-shake, 1Seg support, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, microSDHC memory card slot (up to 8GB), global roaming service and obviously GPS.

Panasonic 921P can be purchased from SoftBank but unfortunately there is no information available on its price but will keep you posted.

Panasonic announced recently that their Toughbook CF-U1 notebook will hit Canadian markets very soon. The machine will run on an Intel Atom processor and will be able to handle PC designed applications.

The CF-U1 will allow you to use your programs in real time even if you’re not in front of a desk all day long. The notebook was especially designed to work perfectly even in some hard environments like: construction sites, manufacturing facilities, railroad yards, oil and gas refineries, etc. It’s perfect for building inspectors, firefighters, insurance adjusters, police officers and any other mobile job.

People in Canada will be able to customize and buy their own CF-U1 UMPC for $2,399 starting this fall.

After their success with the already famous DMX-HD700, Sanyo has decided to release the new Xacti DMX-HD800, a camcorder that will bring people closer to the HD technology. It can handle a 720p HDTV resolution, a 3D noise reduction function, an 8 megapixel CMOS image sensor, chaser functions and last but not least face detection capability.

It’s a great camera that will help you learn more about high definition video recording even if it doesn’t support 1080p resolution (full HD).
