A mini projector is a useful gadget to have around your house or your office these days. It’s way better than watching a movie on your iPod’s display.

Honlai Technology released the QingBar MP101, a mini projector that can handle a 640 x 480 resolution image to a screen or a blank wall. That’s not much but it’s more than enough for standard use. It can project images between 15” and 27” with a brightness of 10 to 15 lumens and a contrast ration of 200:1. For sound you can use the mini AV jack and connect it to your own speakers.

Unfortunately there is no information available on pricing and availability.

At this year’s CES Gizoo presented Wrex the robot dog and now time has come for this doggy to hit mass production.

It’s a smart companion. You can play with it, feed it, take it outside and do almost every other pet-related stuff. The funniest thing is that you can programme it into a cat or a Robosapien if you’re not a dog person. Unfortunately sometimes the puppy gets sick and you’ll have to repair it.

Wrex can be happy, crazy and angry and you can see in what mood it’s in by looking in its eyes. You can use the remote control included in the package to set its moods or you can let it wonder around off the leash.

You can pre-order Wrex starting now for £99.95.
