Bufallo is getting ready to introduce on the market starting this September their new 32GB and 64GB PCI-E SSDs for the Eee PC 901.

Everything sounds peachy until now but wait until you hear the rest of it. These two devices will have amazing price tags. The 32GB SSD will cost 16,800 yen (about $157 US) and the 64GB model will be priced at 33,600 yen ($313 US).

Even so each one costs as much as a computer. But look on the bright side: prices on SSD are dropping very fast. Until further news enjoy Buffalo’s offer because it’s a great one.

Nowadays it seems like companies are racing amongst each other to help the environment. Now it’s D-Link’s turn. They developed a new line-up of WiFi routers that will save you up to 40% in power usage. You may wonder how is that possible?! Well… The routers can detect cable length and link status and can adjust power instead of running always at 100% capacity. And that’s not all. You can program them to shut down the WiFi radio whenever it’s not used by anyone.

They devices using Green Ethernet technology and are called: the D-Link Xtreme N Gigabit Router DIR-665, Xtreme N Duo Media Router DIR-855 and the Xtreme N Gaming Router DGL-4500.

More Storage Space For Wii?

Nintendo Wii owners dreamed and prayed day and night for more storage space for their games. Now, all this can turn to reality. The current capacity 512MB will be history in no time. It was about time for that to happen don’t you think?

As all gamers already know, all the downloaded games and extra Wii content can be stored on a SD memory card. But sometimes that’s quite unpleasant. It would be best if there were a HDD integrated in this gaming console.

Now the big question is… will you be interested in changing your old Wii with a new one that has a built-in HDD?

Applause for Google! They’ve just made a new announcement that deserves congratulations. The company has managed to index a trillion pages. And this doesn’t end here. This search engine is probably the best on the Internet and adds to their database several billion pages each day.

Many pages share auto-generated or similar content or and that’s why they don’t index every single one of them. That’s ok because many pages are in fact duplicate URLs.

That’s amazing considering that in the first year they’ve indexed 26 million pages and in 2001 only a billion. Once again congrats and keep up the good work!

Sprinkler IQ is an environmental-friendly company from New York that produces smart irrigation systems that will help you cut up to 70% from your existing water bill.

They came up with a new technology that automatic adjusts and postpones watering cycles using an on-board weather forecasting device. If it starts raining the device will stop working. But that’s not all. It integrates a few sensors that will use weather predictions to adjust the watering cycle to avoid evaporation.

This device costs $99 but it worth every penny.

If you have a pet then you’ll agree that its safety is very important. That’s why we present you the Plexidor electronic pet door. It uses the garage door mechanism only that instead of a button has an RFID chip attached to the pet’s collar. Whenever the pet is getting near the door, this will open. It’s a useful device that won’t flip each time the wind starts to blow.

The manufacturer used the same material as for football helmets so you don’t have to worry about its safety. Now, about catching the tail… the door features a mechanism that won’t let anything bad happen to your pet.

If you like it you can order it in white or bronze for a price tag somewhere between $129 and $800.
