According to some rumors the Eee PC team is planning to release the Eee PC 701SDX model. This will be much cheaper than its predecessors (sub-$300) and will feature a 7-inch display, a 4GB or 8GB SSD drive, Windows XP but no webcam.

For now the specs still remain a big secret but there’s a big probability that the machine will replace the old Celeron used on the Eee PC 701 for a new Atom processor.

As soon as we find out more information on this tiny monster we’ll let you know.
