Z10

The O2 mobile network announced the launch of the new Motorola handset Z10, that will replace the Z8 model.

Motorola Z10 will be available in October this year, and we can guess some details about this mobile phone: a slider design, who can sustain up to 5 hours of 3G calls and 16 days in standby.

Z10 has a HSDPA connectivity of 3.6Mbps, a 3.2 megapixles camera with 8x zoom and LED illumination, and can record and playback video files at 30 fps. The display has 16 million colors and allows you to playback a video in high definition mode. The terminal has a 90 MB internal memory that can be extended up to 40 GB through microSD memory slots. The new Z10 has a media player and uses UIQ3 interface, that allows you to access it through a simple click.

We are waiting to see if Z10 will meet our expectations and also if the price will not be very high.

irregular_iq_cube

As you can see from the pic, this is no Rubik’s cube. It’s actually the Irregular IQ Cube, a toy that is much more difficult to master. Everyone can solve a Rubik with the information you can find online, but if you really want to impress someone, solve one of these Irregular IQ Cubes.

Instead of the usual vertical and horizontal moving of the cubes, you now get two new vertical slices with two new planes in rotation. The final product looks like a normal solved Rubik’s cube, with 6 faces, each of a different color. But the path leading to that final result is harder then ever with this one.

Price: $9.99 includes 2 Irregular IQ Cubes. Buy it from ThinkGeek.com

D905i

The new mobile phone Mitsubishi D905i is not a small phone, but has some great features: a WVGA color display of 3.1 inch, 262.000 colors and a resolution of 489 x 864 pixel. D905i uses 1Seq soft for mobile television and has a portable version of MSN Messenger along with HTML email.

The handset also has a 3.2 magepixel camera and a slot for microSD memory cards. We don’t know the price yet, but it seems this phone will be sold only in Japan. We might see this phone on the european market under another name like Samsung for marketing purposes. We are waiting to see what will be the next asian wonder in terms of mobile phones.
