The d2 Blu-ray from LaCie has just received a speed boost. The producer decided to double the burn speeds to 4x and to update the aluminum alloy case and also the software suite.

Now you will be able to use the drive to record, rewrite and read 25GB or 50GB BD-R (recordable) and BD-RE (rewritable) media, along with DVD±RW DL and CD±RW.

The package will also include the Roxio burning software along with dual FireWire 400 and USB 2.0 interfaces for better connectivity.

Planon’s PRINTSTICK portable printer has a few great features but probably the most important is the Bluetooth connectivity. The procedure is very simple.
