Segway was invented by Dean Kamen. He is workings now on a water regenerator power that uses cow dung. He chose to use cow dung because it generated energy and can be used to start a vapor condensation distillation process that will generate up to 1000 liters of distilled water per day, per machine from any “wet” source (sewage, sea water, mud…).

Dean Kamen believes that more than half of human diseases could be prevented if anybody could have access to clean water all the time. Even if this is true or not, there no doubt that everyone needs clean water.

This regenerator won’t cost more than $2000 if mass-produced.

Once you press the Sent button in your mail box you can not follow your message. You will only know when and if it is delivered. A new gadget called Micro GPA Mail Logger will help you with this problem. It is half an inch thick and it’s bendable. If you want you can use it in parcels or envelopes.

It follows the delivery process of your mail by recording its global position. You can find out the itinerary of your mail only by plugging in the GPS Mail Logger’s microSD once the message is in your inbox.

You can check the timestamp and the recorded downtime to see if the mail was misrouted or delayed. This gadget will show you the exact satellite location of your mail, or how fast it was traveling and even its altitude.

If you thinking the Micro GPS Mail Logger might be in handy you can buy it for $695.95.

You have videotapes and no player? Then you have only one solution: you must digitize them in order to keep your recordings. You can watch them over and over again on your PC and you will forget about loosing time rewinding or forwarding the movie. Now you can only click once and you will skip to the part you’re interested in.

VCR 2 PC by ION Audio is the best solution if you’re facing the above mentioned problem. This device uses USB 2.0 to connect to the PC. It includes composite connection for camcorders and the RCA output is located on the back to playback previews on a TV.

The PAL version has also SCART output. The digital conversion will be in the MPEG-2 for DVD or H.264 for iPod/PSP authoring formats.

You can buy ION PCR 2 PC for $249.
