Elonex has finally joined has Sony, BeBook and Amazobeen and has introduced his own ebook reader. As for the design, it sure looks like a 6-inch reader OEM model. But still, it is a step ahead in the right direction.  The downside for the buyers is that this device will be available in UK only, at Borders UK and of course the Borders eBook Download Store. The reader has a 4GB card with room for one more and space for 8,000 ebooks. The frame is only 9 millimeters in thickness and is quite smooth. The price will be £189 ($311).

HP has added the AMD’s six-core Opteron 2400 processor to the XW9400 workstation.  This professional workstation can also have two Six-core AMD Opteron processors. This means it can offer 12 processing cores, which is remarkable. This system can also be equiped with a ATI FirePro V7750 3-D graphics accelerator for workstations. This HP xw9400 has a starting price of $1899, which is not bad at all.

You may know that PS3 has some software that is based on the Ps2 emulations from 2007. So we were a bit surprised to find out that Siliconera has released a patent that is official since last week for the technology that allows them to decode and also recompile all the software that was written for Ps2 Emotion Engine. This engine is currently on the device’s Cell Processor. Some even say that they are doing this to include new features on the new and much waited slim Ps3 version. Others say they are doing it to offer support for the old Ps2 discs or even for the digital downloads. We don’t know anything for sure, we just know they have the patent and they mean to use it. 090630-ps3-02

Even if this is not dual band, this ASUS router looks like a tool from the future. The model is called RT-N16 and has some great and full 802.11n capabilities. The CPU is quite powerful, and the memory has 128MB. The memory will safely keep every bit of information that you have. The router has 4 LAN ports and also 2 USB ports will accommodate your needs. The device is not wireless but promises to be quick and efficient. The model also includes support for WPS. Still, there is no information on the price but we shall keep you posted.asus-rt-n16-06-30-091

Have you ever tried to drill a hole into a peanut or something smaller than that, like rice? It is virtually impossible. Sorry… it was. Now, things have changed thanks to this small electric drill that looks like a Smurf. The tool is powered by a button cell battery. The tool comes in a few different versions and will be soon available on sale.

Today, we introduce you to the CATS.i (aka CATSeye Mk2). It is a very slim real-time GPS tracking device. It looks like a cellphone battery. CATS.i has an integrated GPS chipset and also supports the quad-band GSM/GPRS cellular networks. The amazing thing about this device is that it has just 5 mm in thickness and can be applied to many other portable devices like a backpack or even on clothing. And let’s not forget that it is waterproof.
